Easter Fun!

For those of you who think 16Month olds are too young to enjoy Easter . . . I DISAGREE!

Hailey had a blast, and not because she was fed candy all day (it was a sugar free holiday). Not only did she get a Bunny sippy with a straw, but she also got her favorite, a balloon!
After naps it was time to hit the park (since our backyard is a 2 foot mess of weeds).
Once Hailey realized there were gold fishies in the eggs, she was in it to win it!





All in all (minus the 4 earth quakes) it was a great Easter Sunday!

Just catching up!

The last few weeks have been hectic/awesome!

Not only did Hailey get a new house, but also her own set up wheels! (Thanks to our friends Polly and John)

Grandma Sandy even came out to help with the big move and get some much needed Hailey time! We just wish she could have played longer! But I guess we need to share her with Grandpa Tom!

We are pretty much moved in and really enjoying our new house. Hailey has had no issue adjusting into her new "playground". Going from 800 sq/ft to 2800 is not a tough adjustment! We've even discovered on a clear day we have quit the ocean view! Don't laugh, but if you squint ever so closely you will catch a glimpse of ocean btwn the 2 rooftops!

We are home owners!

Thanks to the economic downfall, we are officially homeowners in California!

(just making lemonade out of lemons!)

When Dad is in charge

Today was "Hailey Day". I say that because she woke up with the stomach flu and was so miserable and pathetic, Hailey got whatever she wanted today. I had to leave for a church thing tonight and left Daddy in charge, and this is what I found when I came home at 9pm (2 hours after bedtime) . . .

The whole front room looked like this. It's amazing how many tissues are in one tissue box!

Since we obviously have this parenting thing down pact, we figure why not add another one to the mix! So . . . We're having a baby!!!

Yep, the first trimester is over and we are well on our way to baby #2!

Walk or to be Walked. . .

As most of you know, Hailey loves doggies, especially Phoebe (Suzy's dog). Hailey woke up from her nap to some very fun house guests. Here was her first reaction.

It took some practice, but Hailey has found her new favorite past time!

We're not sure who is walking who here.

This lasted for almost an hour! (if it were up to Hailey we would have kept going)

Thanks Aunt Suzy for making the drive down to visit!

Hailey's Pretty Dress

Grandma Sandy got Hailey this pretty dress, but we have been anxiously waiting for her to walk in order to wear it (seeing it's skirt is made completely out of tool). Thankfully she made it before she grew out of it!! It was a close call though!

When one door closes, another one opens!

The month of January was bitter sweet. Our Disney land pass expired. Hailey and I have many great memories of Dland!
One year earlier, Hailey's first D-land trip


As we left the park one last time.
But the good news is, we are now Zoo pass holders! (This change might take some warming up to!)
And so are all of Hailey's Huntington Beach friends!!

Haileys favorite was the turtles, mainly because they would swim right up to her!
D Land we will always have a special place for you in our heart, but Hello San Diego Zoo!

My baby's "Awalkin" Part 2

It's been painfully boring this past week,especially since the rain has left us home bound for the entire week. Good news is Hailey has had plenty of time to practice her new skills and overcome her fear of tile!

If you haven't figured it out already, balls are her new toy of choice!

Yesterday was a very eventful night. After much anticipation and waiting, Hailey has taken her first steps. It's been a long road since All of her friends, including her younger ones, have been walking for months! Good bye stained knees and dirty hands, hello cute shoes with real soles!

Yep, Miss Hailey has learned to dance way before she has figured out how to walk. She's a natural!
