Hailey's Pretty Dress

Grandma Sandy got Hailey this pretty dress, but we have been anxiously waiting for her to walk in order to wear it (seeing it's skirt is made completely out of tool). Thankfully she made it before she grew out of it!! It was a close call though!

When one door closes, another one opens!

The month of January was bitter sweet. Our Disney land pass expired. Hailey and I have many great memories of Dland!

As we left the park one last time.
But the good news is, we are now Zoo pass holders! (This change might take some warming up to!)
And so are all of Hailey's Huntington Beach friends!!

Haileys favorite was the turtles, mainly because they would swim right up to her!
D Land we will always have a special place for you in our heart, but Hello San Diego Zoo!

My baby's "Awalkin" Part 2

It's been painfully boring this past week,especially since the rain has left us home bound for the entire week. Good news is Hailey has had plenty of time to practice her new skills and overcome her fear of tile!

If you haven't figured it out already, balls are her new toy of choice!

Yesterday was a very eventful night. After much anticipation and waiting, Hailey has taken her first steps. It's been a long road since All of her friends, including her younger ones, have been walking for months! Good bye stained knees and dirty hands, hello cute shoes with real soles!

Yep, Miss Hailey has learned to dance way before she has figured out how to walk. She's a natural!

I'm dreaming of our White Christmas

As Luck would have it, we were able to have a white Christmas in Oklahoma City. Not only was it the first "white Christmas" in OK since 1844, but also the Most snow OK City has had in the history of the state.

Our little California girl loved her first playdate in the snow. Let's not dwell on the fact that her snow clothes consisted of plastic grocery sacks, Cousin TJ's old snow outfit size 3m that covered half of her body, and socks for gloves.

If you're going to be snowed in for 2 days, might has well be stuck in a pretty house! Thanks Rob and Mel for being great hosts!

3 Years and Counting!

Yesterday was our 3ed Anniversary and I've come to the conclusion that Ammon and I are GREAT at being married, but suck at celebrating it! This is what you get for getting married around the holidays, and then having a child the same time!
Just to Re-cap
1st Anniversary- Ammon had to fly out in the morning to South Dakota for work. The night before we went to his work party.
2nd Anniversary- Had a 3 week old and Ammon worked late.
3ed Anniversary- Still unpacking from our move, Ammon just stared his new job 3 days ago and is sick.

I'm thinking by Anniversary #5 it's going to be off the hook!!!

Happy Anniversary Ammon, all joking aside, marrying you was the best decision I every made!

Packin Up and Moving out!

Well it's official, the Sullivan's are moving out of the OC. And I have to admit we've got mixed feelings about it! It's been a good, long run for Ammon (4yrs) and I (7 yrs) but it's time for some change (and hopefully soon a new house!!!!) Ammon got a new job at Qualcomm and starts in less then 2 weeks, so San Diego here we come! My only hope is we can find as good of friends there as we have here! I know it's asking allot, but a girl can dream!

The Birthday Bonanza!

Everyone Says that your child's 1st Birthday is for the parents because the kids have no idea what's going on, but I beg to differ! I think Hailey had a fabulous time!

And It was so much more special to share it with her best bud Dallin!

So far they have shared the day they were born, the hospital they were born in, the day they were blessed, and now the 2009 birthday bonanza!

My Birthday Baby!

Here is Hailey exactly a year ago today!


I can't believe that it's been a year since Miss Hailey graced us with her presence. I should have known that her arrival at 4:22am was not just by chance, but a preview of my nights to come. Even now she still loves the 4-O-clock hour of the morning. As I think about my little girl, I can't help but list some of my favorite characteristics of Miss Hailey!

1. She flirts with everyone


Some of her moves are more successful then others!

2. She knows how to work the camera


3. Her new favorite word is "Yes"


4. She dances when her toys start singing to her.


5. She loves any and all jewelry.

6. She really loves Credit Cards and Cell phones. (this could be trouble)


7. Every morning when I come to get her out of her crib this is what I see.


8. While watching my dance shows, when the audience cheers she immediately stops what she is doing and claps along.

9. She likes to look at every price tag when shopping. (A bargain shopper in the making)

10. She gives me hugs for no apparent reason.

I could go on and on, but I wouldn't want to brag.
