The Christmas Miracle of 2008

Some of you might know that since Grandma Sandy left, Haileys sleeping schedule left allot to be desired.  She was waking up every hour and 20 min and then up for about an hour in between.  Some nights she would be up from 12-5am.   It was brutal for mommy.  But the winds have changed and we have found our solution. . .

I presents the gift that keeps on giving. . .  The Swing!!!

For the past 3 nights she has slept in her swing.  Night 1, I got two 4 hour stretches.  Night 2, One 6 hour stretch of sleep and night 3, one stretch of 7 hours of uninterrupted slumber it was awesome for mommy!
She even like her swing when she is awake!!  This is a good sign that Hailey might get sibling some day after all!

Happy Anniversary MY LOVE!!

Yes, it's true.  Today is our 2nd anniversary!  It seems like just yesterday we were single living on the Beach, but I have to be honest I wouldn't trade my married life for anything!  Here's a stroll down memory lane.  I love you Ammon!

My 3rd week of life

Mommy tried on all my Sunday Clothes and this was the best fit!  Let's be honest I have allot of growing room!

I love to play the kissy game with my mommy!
Daddy helps me push out all my access gas (unfortunately there is allot!)!  I have t admit this is everyones favorite game!
Clearly I got my serious snarl look from Daddy!
There is hope for Curls!!!  This one piece of hair has a mind of its own!
And last but not lease, this is my favorite place to nap!
All in all it's been a great week!

My baby is getting so big

As I reflect on the past 2 and a half weeks it makes it more and more obviously how much Miss Hailey has grown.  You might not believe me but I have proof!

Exibit A:  These PJ's were big on her at the hospital.  I think she is filling them out quit nicely.  She might only have one more week in them!  She is well on her way to New born and 0-3M!

Exhibit B:  She loves light and color, this is Hailey watching Ugly Betty (a show that always has lots of color)

Exhibit C:  Hailey caught in the act!  If you look closely her little finger found her nose. (Not a habit I will be encouraging but is cute for now)

A Fun Filled Week!

This has been a busy week for little Miss Hailey.  She has had allot of first . . .

She had her first meeting with her boyfriend Dallin.  They were born of the same day at the same hospital and their mommies are great friends.  In other words it is a match made in heaven!  She met her Grandpa Tom and her Sullivan Grandparents.  She had her first Thanksgiving,  first walk on the beach, first birthday party (it was daddy's birthday) and met her auntie Suzy for the first time.  In other words it's been a whirl wind!

I never thought I'd be "that mom" that dresses her baby in matching outfits!  But I just couldn't resist!  

Although Hailey has quit the wardrobe it's all too big for her.  We just picked this up in the premie section!  Go figure my little girl is small!  Who would have thought!

Things I've learned about my baby Hailey

1.  She Can Not be trusted!

2 nights ago we were preparing 

her bath.  She had a stinky diaper so I cleaned her up and

wrapped her in her blanket knowing that she would only be 

"diaper-less" for no more then 30

 sec as we

 got her in the bath.  Unfortunately that was too long!  If you look closely you can see the evidence.  

The next day she managed to go potty twice mid-changing (just as we removed the diaper out from under her cute little bum.  I'm sensing a pattern!

2.  She does Not like the Shu-shing sound daddy makes

3.  She loves her hands

Although we swaddle her up tight, her little Huedini hands always seem to escape!

4.  She's got daddy's Hair and mommy's freakishly small wrists

5.  She is a GREAT communicator!

I'll give you one guess what she is saying here!

6.  She LOVES her Daddy!                                              

7.  I just can't get enough of her!  

Apparelty I've been told I am a "baby hog"

I just love her so much!
