I figure it's time to end the suspense! After the last post, I realized that when I mentioned "big news" I might have raised allot of curiosity, and have since received a number of phone calls. Let me put your minds to rest . . . I am not pregnant, we are not going anywhere, we did not win the lotto, or get chosen to be the next family on Extreme home makeover (which would be awesome!) Our big news is that after 10 long awaited months, and watching all her younger friends pass her by, Hailey is officially crawling! Sorry this might be a let down to many of you out there who were expecting something REALLY juicy. But for Hailey and I this is life changing. Here are a few videos to show her progress.
Here is some of her past attempts. Ammon was a good coach! Not to mention TJ's skills definitely helped push her along!
And finally my "not so creepy crawler"!

Ch 4-5-6
As you might have noticed I have been slacking on my blogging. But before I can move on to the big news, we must first give a shout out to all our friends who we loved seeing on our very LLOOOONNNG vaca. . . Unfortunately we stopped taking pics after week one, so we are limited on our photo montage!
Thanks Rob and Mel for hosting a great B day party for Dad in the "New OC" Hailey had so much fun playing with her cousin TF!
Ammon was able to see one of his best friends from growing up while out in the OC (Oklahoma city).
The last few weeks of our trip Hailey spent her days crawling backwards, which often time forced her into small predicaments like, how do I now get myself out from underneath the bed?
After 3 weeks of fun visiting with everyone, we reach the moment we had all been dreading . . .
the 23 hour car ride home!
Thanks to the Dardanos, the Dahls, the Bowmens and the Glades for making our trip so much fun! We love yall!

Ch 3- The Lake House
Hailey Sails, She's a Sailer (if you can name that movie quote, there is a reason you are my friend!)
The fun just kept on coming. The Dardanos were nice enough to invite us along to the lake house!
So both my babies went wake boarding for the first time!
We were off to a rocky start, but Hailey ended up loving the wind in her hair (you just cant see it under her giant hat!)
Yes, you heard me right, this was Ammon's first time to wake board, and yes he spent how many years in Provo! Check out that grace and athleticism! Pay no attention to the look of fear on his face!
I love wake boarding, but did agree to a small jaunt on the tube.
All that fun just tuckered my little Hailey out!
Thanks again to the Dardanos for such a fun time!

Chapter 2 of the Grand Sabbatical!
After a LONG drive to good old Dallas TX, we made it to one of our bestest friends in TX. The one the only Dardanos!
It was so fun to visit with 2 of my most favorite people in the world, my college roommates Anna and Lauren. Times have definitely changed, they both have 3 kids now. The question is . . . What have I been up to, I only have one?
Hailey was overwhelmed with all the fun toys everyone had!
Here is Hailey's vacation fling!
As you can see, Pierce is a SMOOTH OPERATOR!
And last but not least, CASH! He taught Hailey all kinds of new tricks, like moaning without ever having to open your mouth. Thanks Cash!
We miss yall, Thanks again for everything!

The Grand Canyon
As you might have guested, we have been out of town for awhile. (awhile is an understatement-more like 3 weeks!) While on our National Lampoons vacation we had a number of adventures. One of which was the Grand Canyon!

Dear in Headlights!
Last week was free day at the Natural HIstory Museum in LA. Surprisingly enough Hailey was quit interested in her surroundings!
I'm not sure if her entertainment came from the actually museum, or the hundreds of kids running around the place!
Hailey with her buddies Max, Ivy, and T-rex
The next day Hailey had her first biking adventure with her buddy Dallin, unfortunately this is the most pleasant face she had during the whole experience. She cried the entire ride (which was cut short). Good news is Dallin held her hand the entire time. What a supportive boyfriend!
And last but not least, Sundays are never complete without a Sullivan family BBQ. The guest list included Corden, Hailey, Dallin, Cabella, and baby Ivy.

Too Cute for Words!
Am I right or what!

Hailey loves to give out kisses, this could become a problem some day!
Hailey got a special gift in the mail, her favorite part was the wrapping!
If you look closely you can see the wrapping paper I unsuccessfully dug out of her mouth!

Picnic with Dad!

This weekend was a REAL treat! We were both able to see Ammon. He's been working a ton (Saturdays included) so it was a nice brake to just hang out! Even if it just a picnic in our backyard!
Haily's new favorite snack, pizza crust! (who can blame her)

Surfs Up
This weekend in Huntington it was the US Surf Open. So we all (Me, Ammon, Hailey, Mike, Pauline, Monica and Suzy) made our way down a few blocks to the beach to check it out!
After fighting our way through the massive crowds, stroller and all, we hit the sand and heard on the PA . . . "That's the completion of todays events". As Unfortunate as our timing was, I wasn't about to shed any tears because at the moment, the 10's of thousands of people slowly dispersed and we were able to set up shop for a nice relaxing day of "people watching" on the beach!
(as you can see, Hailey was shocked at some of the crazy's that come to these events)
Hailey was able to hang out with her Grandma and Grandpa Sullivan, which is one of her favorite pastimes!
We were having so much fun we decided to stay and have dinner on the sand. Gotta love T.K. Burger!
This is Hailey at the beginning of our adventure. She might not have enjoyed the cold ocean waves like we hoped for.
